You know how sometimes people on your friend's list post about stuff going on in their life, and all of a sudden you think "Wait a minute? Since when are they working THERE? Since when are they dating HIM/HER? since when???" And then you wonder how you could have missed all that seemingly pretty standard information, but somehow you feel too ashamed to ask for clarification because it seems like info you *should* already know? It happens to all of us sometimes.

Please copy mine below, erase my answers putting yours in their place then post it in your journal! Please elaborate on the questions that would benefit from elaboration! One-word answers seldom help anyone out. :)

1. First Name: Katinka

2. Age: 17 (18 in 2 weeks)
Birthdate: July 9, 1990

3. Location: Bruges, Belgium (that's in Europe XD )

4. Occupation: I work in a beershop in weekends and holidays, just selling beer, chocolats and souvenirs to the tourists that our town is packed with...

5. Partner: No one, I'm lonely =/

6. Kids: I wanna have kids, girls if possible. Dunno how many but my motto is "liever geen dan een" which means "I'd rather have none than one".
I love kids in general and they love me, lol eg: yesterday Nando, Wendy's one year old couldn't stop staring at me and he constantly smiled when he saw me, I played with him a little, he's so cute!

7. Brothers/Sisters: 1 brother, I don't write about him a lot, he just isn't really a part of my life, he's 27 and his name is Erwin (he has 2 kids Mel(issa) and Jordy and a gf called San(dra) ).
I have 2 sisters, the oldest is Belinda, she's 29, engaged to a British 52-year old and living at our place at the moment, because she's a doctor (in sociology) at a Belgian university and it's quite hard to fly over from England every day... (they're moving to Bruges though).
My other sister, Miranda (I mostly refer to her as Mira) is 20, anorexic and in therapy for it, and she's single (because she stays inside the house all the time and goes to be at 8 pm).

8. Pets: I have 3 cats, one is mine, he's called Taki-Tache, one is my mother's, her name is Minerva and one is my stepdad's, his name is Chipie, it was my stepdad's part of his aunt's heritage. Two of them (mine and my mother's) are really fat, the other is anorexic.

9. List the 3-5 biggest things going on in your life:  (the order is completly random)
    1. School. I just finished highschool and I'm going to college to go study industrial engineering halfway september.
    2. House. My parents want to move.... (AGAIN, I used to move every year.) They've been changing their mind like a 100 times already, from the south of Belgium to France to England to Bruges to.... Now they've decided on a town near Bruges where the houses are really pretty and cheap and where my aunt lives. As I'm writing this they're in that town checking out some house they like and that is for sale...
    3. Friends. I don't have a lot of good friends but the ones I have, I love to death. I love to hang out with them, and just do something fun, I'm afraid of losing them now that I'm gonna go to college....More explanation about my friends at question 12.
    4. Music. I love to sing, I love to listen to music. I joined a band a while ago, but due to exams I haven't seen them in forever....

10) Where and for what did you go to school for? Just high school so far, but like I said: I'm gonna go study industrial engineering in industrial design, which is 5 years and is (hopefully) gonna be a lot of fun. It is basically making/designing/developing new products or improving existing ones. From the first step (the idea) to the very last (the promotion), which means I have to learn a lot of very divers things from economic stuff to welding to making 3D designs out of a 2D sketch..... CREATIVITY is the keyword =D

11) Parents: My parents divorced when I was 2. I live with my mum and stepdad, they got married in 2000 (because it's an easy date to remember, or so they say). (If I talk about "my parents" in my journal, I mean my mum and stepdad) Mira lives with my dad.
I don't really get along very well with any of my parents but it's not like we truly hate each other either....

12) Who are some of your closest friends?:
There's Lilly, I met her a few years ago (when she came back from living in South-Africa for 4 years) and we became sisters, we did everything together and we shared everything. But lately we've really grown apart, I haven't talked to her in a week and somehow it doesn't feel like I'm missing out on something.
Then Niels. We've been in the same school for 6 years already. I used to know him as "the goth", there's only one gothic in my high school and that's him. People are afraid of him, people don't talk to him, people make up stories about him (ever seen 10 Things I Hate About You? Well, he's Heath Ledger and they make up similar stories about him). I really got to know him 2 (school)years ago and that's also about the time that we started dating (he called/calls me Kat as a reference to Kat in 10 things I hate about you, which is a funny coincidence, but I do hope I look better than Julia Stiles....), he's not at all like people think he is, he's shy and scared of what people think about him, he's really sweet, he cries when he watches romantic movies and stuff like that. We broke up for a lot of reasons, or more so: I broke up with him for a lot of reasons, like the fact that he was afraid to kiss me. We're still really good friends and he's got a girlfriend who is jealous of me now...
Lotte. I met her a long time ago, through a mutual friend, my best friend at that time, who called me "meisie" (a petform of girl) and Lotte didn't know my name so she called me that too XD. She's a really nice girl, I really like her because you immediatly know if she likes you or not. She's autistic and has a lot of problems with functioning normally at school, that's why, the past year, she's been studying at home. I miss having her at school, but we still see each other quite often, when we have a movie night at her place....
Jessica, she's a ton of fun, I only met her last year but we've gotten pretty close and she's a really sweet and pretty girl.
Emma, I've known her superficially for a few years already, but she's quite closed to people she doesn't know, I always thought she hated me, but she just doesn't open up too much because she gets critisized a lot by people because she's a vegetarian and member of an organisation who defend animal rights, even when it harms people. She's really sweet though, and guess what? she doesn't hate me XD we're pretty good friends these days.
